From time to time, DASH needs to go offline for maintenance. We try to keep the site online as much as possible, but some downtime is unavoidable and often important to the healthy functioning of the site.
Notice: We have scheduled downtime on January 18th 2014 from 12:01am to 4:00am ET. This may impact G Scale auction checkouts, so it is advised that you please check out immediately after the auction's conclusion, or wait until Saturday afternoon to finish checking out.
General Reading On DASH Downtime
If you ever notice the site is down, don't be alarmed! We're probably improving the site or fixing issues. Sometimes we will initiate downtime to improve the site, and other times it will come as a result of our hosting facility's efforts to improve service and fix issues. Here are some general guidelines regarding DASH downtime.
- In the event that an auction's closing time falls during downtime, we may adjust or extend it in order to be most fair to both buyers and sellers.
- If we have announced downtime here on the site or via our email messaging, you should wait until it is complete and the site is up in order to attempt to complete checkouts or bid on auctions.
- All user bidding and buying activity is tracked, so any perceived errors from downtime can likely be resolved by contacting us.
If you ever have questions or concerns or need to reach us during downtime, you can send emails directly to support@collector-modeltrains.com. These will reach us regardless of the site's status.
