St. Louis Welcomes 59th TCA Convention

This week members of the Train Collectors Association and its Ozark Division will make their way to the Gateway Arch of St. Louis to convene for for their 59th Annual Convention, and it's going to be a week full of wonderful events and activities. 

As a St. Louis resident, I'm incredibly honored to welcome the TCA to my fair city and its rich railroading culture. DASH will be on hand at the show to bring you a few inside looks and a recap of convention happenings. Whether you're a TCA member still looking for information on the show or thinking about joining up and attending for the first time, the following links should be able to help you.

This will be our third National Convention in the St. Louis area. We hope that you join us to celebrate the Magic of Toy Trains June 22- June 30, 2013. St. Louis, the Gateway to the West, has a lot to offer the TCA members. The host hotel is the Millennium in downtown St. Louis and is on the riverfront (Mississippi River) and within walking distance of the Arch. The hotel has recently been renovated and offers a lot of space for the TCA. We have planned several great tours of local layouts, as well as many of the local sites for you to choose.

The 59th Annual TCA Convention is set to include a number of highlights, like the election of a new president, St. Louis attraction and area layout tours, an expanive trading pit, member auctions, the TCA President's public forum, and loads of other activities. Any model train collectors and enthusiasts in the area would certainly enjoy the event and get a great opportunity to join other railroaders doing what we all love. It's not too late to register and join in on all the fun.
